In this third program on the book of Hosea, I discuss four major prophecies in the book: the judgment to come, the inclusion of the Gentiles, the Jewish diaspora, and the timing of Christ’s return.  Although Hosea is not known for its end-time prophecies, what little is in the book is extremely significant.

735 (Video 384) What does it mean that Christ will rule with a rod of iron?

Three times in the Revelation, it is prophesied that Christ will rule with a rod of iron.  This is a quote from the Psalm 2 Messianic prophecy.  The first question is the timing and the nature of the event.   When will this take place, and over who?  Nevertheless, the great objection to this prophecy is that Christ will rule.  For those on Satan’s side, it is tyranny; for those on God’s side, it means rejoicing.

In this Christmas program, I discuss two essential truths embodied in Christ’s first Advent.  First, the Gospel writers' inclusion of many social/political events in the recounting of Jesus’ birth.  There was a divine purpose for including current events in the narrative.  Second, the fact that in His first coming, Jesus Christ did not fulfill the promise that He would bring in His Kingdom, His reign of righteousness on earth.   The spiritual lesson should not be missed.   The sin problem must be taken care of before Christ’s kingdom can be realized.

Iran is experiencing a historic drought.  Two weeks ago, the president of Iran announced that the only solution is to relocate the capital (Tehran) to Makran, one thousand miles to the South.  Iran is the chief sponsor of terrorism against Israel.  Is this drought the judgment of God?  Will this take down the Islamic regime in Iran?  In this program, we explore what the Bible says about God’s judgment and drought.

In view of the upcoming Thanksgiving celebration, this week’s program is about the Pilgrims and William Bradford’s book, Of Plymouth Plantation.  Most people now about the Pilgrims’ physical sufferings, but few know about the scoundrels who worked to cheat the Pilgrims.  In the words of Jesus, “Beware of Men.”

During the Last Supper, Jesus warned His disciples that the world would hate them, even as it had hated Him.  What was the reason for this hatred?  Those who believe in the “woke Jesus” claim Jesus was hated because He accepted and affirmed people.  However, Jesus tells us that he was hated because He testified that their deeds were evil.   The moral standards of God are the reason the Left hates the followers of Christ and those who hold to Biblical morality.  Don’t let anyone deceive you into thinking the anger against the Right is for any other reason.
