Amazingly, before the judgment, God raised up in Israel a king who would push back the paganism. King Josiah would not own the coming disaster, but he would be used of God to show the people the good ways of God. There may be a timeless pattern in God’s dealings with ancient Israel. Trump destroyed the Hamas Palestinian narrative by saying what nobody else was willing to say: the truth, and the only possible solution. Repatriate the Palestinians to surrounding Islamic countries. This isn’t ethnic cleansing or hate for the Palestinians but love and care. Hamas is destroying these people. And God is using Trump to set Israel up for his prophetic plan. As in the return from the first diaspora, “It is I who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd! And he will perform all My desire.’ And he declares of Jerusalem, ‘She will be built,’ And of the temple, ‘Your foundation will be laid.’ ” (Isaiah 44:28)
